Company History

We first started off in 1994 when Darren Moss decided to branch out and start his own company after having worked with his father for many years learning all aspects of landscaping. Ever since he launched the company Darren has focused on training all of his teams of men to very high standards.

In 2000 Abel Landscaping was fully established as one of the best landscaping companies in the Northwest. In the same year, Marshalls had created a Marshalls Register which contains a list of highly reputable companies that perform to high standards which they recommend to their customers. Only people who conform to their regulations and high standards are allowed to be on this list. Abel was automatically put on this register due to the company’s reputation, hard-working teams and excellent customer service skills.

We have won many Marshalls awards over the years and also many Southport Flower Show awards. We have worked on major commercial projects and appeared on TV programmes such as DIY SOS.

Our company is a Marshalls Award Winning company. The awards, now in four-year, celebrate the work of Marshalls’ Register members driveways and patio installations.
