Western Red Cedar Decking with LED lights Prenton Wirral
Here we were transforming the rear garden creating decking using western red cedar timber. When it comes to decking there is no better material than Western Red Cedar. In addition to its stunning beauty, distinct aroma, limitless versatility and light environmental footprint, Western Red Cedar has a set of natural characteristics that make it the ideal material for decks and other outdoor living projects.
Firstly we were constructing a decking frame using heavy duty timber. We then put a protective membrane over the decking frame to prevent weed growth and from food falling down under the decking. Once this is complete we were installing cedar wood decking on top of the frame and fixing it with screws. The next stage was to install mule posts that would be connected with rope. This installation also included steps with facias.
We completed the look by adding LED lights to the decks. Deck lights offer a stylish and energy-efficient way to add beautiful low-level lighting to your garden deck.
